*For months, Akon and will.i.am have been talking about working on new music with Michael Jackson for an upcoming album. Kanye West’s name was just added to the mix last week. Turns out the new material is really remixed versions of tracks from the biggest-selling album of all time.
According to Fox411’s Roger Freidman, the King of Pop is busy putting together a 25th anniversary edition of his “Thriller” album that will feature remixes of four tracks as CD extras. According to Jackson’s new music attorney, Peter Lopez, those tracks are are “Billie Jean,” “The Girl Is Mine,” “Wanna Be Starting Something” and “Pretty Young Thing.”
Friedman writes: “In addition, Lopez says that four tracks left off “Thriller” in 1983 will be included. Jackson’s longtime producer Bruce Swedien, who no longer works with the pop star, told me that one track he knows of is a killer. It’s called ‘Don’t Be Messin’ Around.’”
According to Friedman, “Thriller 25″ will be issued by Sony “because it’s part of that catalog. But Jackson has no recording contract and, frankly, no interest from record companies.”
I don’t know if it’s true but I hope Mike teamed up with these producers for he’s new material also it’s time for a new thriller Michael.

Usher was surprised by the amount of negative press that he got for his recent wedding to his pregnant girlfriend, Tameka Foster.
The singer married Foster in August at his lawyer’s office in Atlanta, but a week earlier he had cancelled plans to hold a glitzy showbiz wedding at music mogul Antonio ‘LA’ Reid’s Sagaponack New York home.
The cancellation of the initial planned wedding led to media reports claiming that the wedding had been called off because his stylist partner did not get along with Usher’s mother, Jonetta Patton.
Usher told US magazine Essence: “It was like, ‘Wow!’ (Getting married) and having a child is something that everyone should celebrate. What’s happened to us as a culture and a people?”
MICHAEL JACKSON has been ordered to pay $175,000 (GBP87,500) to his former lawyers in the dispute over fees relating to his child molestation trial in 2005. The pop superstar was sued by firm Ayscough + Marar earlier this year (07) for failing to pay up for the lawyers’ representation after he was cleared of the criminal charges. But Jackson has now been told he must pay the $175,000 to cover the legal costs of Ayscough + Marar hiring another lawyer to sue the singer. The order was made by Superior Court Judge James Chalfant on Monday (15Oct07) – bringing Jackson’s invoice from his former legal team to more than $430,000 (GBP215,000). But the ruling was a small victory for Jackson – he will only be paying a fraction of the original $450,000 (GBP225,000) Ayscough + Marar were asking for in costs. Speaking after the case in a U.S. court, Jackson’s lawyer Thomas Mundell says, “We’re very happy with today’s outcome.” The Thriller star is currently facing two other lawsuits over unpaid legal fees: Lavely + Singer claims the singer owes the company $113,750 (GBP56,875), while a Delaware law firm says he owes them $100,000 (GBP50,000) for legal representation in a number of different court cases.
